Capx is a suite of products in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) designed to unlock trillions of dollars locked in vesting tokens. The Capx Protocol will serve as a trustless and highly decentralized financial infrastructure. The protocol enables individuals to effortlessly execute smart-contract-based agreements at a fractional cost compared to services provided by any financial institution.

Capx Products

Capx Liquid is a decentralized platform that allows project teams, investors, and other vesting token holders to vest tokens using a "Smart Vesting Contract." The contract holds ERC-20 Tokens (Vesting Tokens) for a specific period and provides them with a wrapped ERC-20 Token (Wrapped Vesting Token) whose value is derived from the vesting token.
Capx Exchange is a decentralized platform that enables the P2P trade of wrapped vesting tokens (WVTs). Capx Exchange allows quick and easy cryptocurrency transactions between two interested parties without unnecessarily transferring crypto funds with complete anonymity.

Capx Lend

Capx Lend is a ledger that allows individuals to lend or borrow assets. Allows lenders that provide liquidity to compute interest on their lent assets while enabling the borrowers to get overcollateralized loans and pay a premium on the borrowed amount.

Capx Token

The Capx tokenomics sets a path for the decentralization of the Capx protocol. The Capx token enables the Capx Protocol to serve as trustless and a highly decentralized financial infrastructure. Capx token is being built with a vision of a world where everyone can access the utility of Capx Protocol globally with the ideals of permission-less access, security, and immutability.

Capx Governance

At Capx, our goal is to create the financial infrastructure that applications and developers can rely on upon forever. To get there, we intend to fully decentralize the Capx protocol — removing the most significant single point of failure (our team) and creating an indestructible, open protocol that can evolve in entirely new ways.
Capx platform will begin with multi-signature protocol governance with stakeholders from the ecosystem controlling various aspects of the protocol (such as choosing the product fee model). Over time, will transition to complete community and stakeholder control, i.e., a formal Change Management Program, to allow the community to discuss & introduce change proposals.
The Capx Protocol has several DAOs that co-exist to enable the decentralized nature of the protocol.
  1. 1.
Capx DAO: This DAO operates out of a multi-signature wallet. As Capx moves towards a decentralized future, stakeholders from the Capx ecosystem will be elected to form a ten-member governing body responsible for making decisions to improve Capx protocol.
  2. 2.
Treasury DAO: Initially maintained by the Capx Genesis team, the treasury DAO will decide on utilization strategies to make the best use of Capx Protocol.
  3. 3.
Grants DAO: This organization will identify and fund community efforts that benefit the blockchain community.
